Missionaries: this is the primary calling of the Missionary Sisters of the Society of Mary, present in Rwanda since 1981, serving evangelization and the least among us.
Our Congregation has received a particular mandate in the Church to take part in evangelization through missionary presence, through living and proclaiming the Word, and through apostolic service. Since our arrival in Rwanda in 1981, we continue this calling in the heart of the land of a thousand hills.
“Go to the whole world” — a Marist charism lived in community in the service of the Church.
